PCT international application: On the basis of the Chinese patent application, the invention and utility model can be extended to 16 months within 12 months, and the PCT international application is filed with the Chinese Patent Office or WIPO as the receiving office.
Direct application: Based on the principle of reciprocity between China and other countries in the world, Chinese applicants can directly file their first applications in other countries, but they must go through the confidentiality review of the Chinese Patent Office.
