The Public PAIR system of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which has been in use for more than 20 years, will be discontinued at the end of this month!
The new Patent Center will replace the PAIR system, and a new electronic submission method and management method will be enabled.
Patent Center is downwardly compatible with all existing functions of Public PAIR, and will greatly improve system performance and user experience, while adding the following new functions:
1 Citations can be downloaded;
2 Users can freely choose DOCX and XML formats for file download;
3 Users can choose to download bibliographic information in XML format;
The previous search methods and search experience, which are well-known to the public, are also smoother because of the integration of functions by the USPTO. For example, the application number, international application number, publication number and international appearance registration number can be used for searching; Arbitrary sorting of titles and search history, etc.
