Important Notice from the U.S. Copyright Office

Starting from July 27, 2024, the temporary form required for registering copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office: Deposit Ticket Declaration Form will no longer be required. If the copyright owner submits a copyright registration application to the U.S. Copyright Office after July 27, 2024, the U.S. Copyright Office will likely require the copyright owner to provide a physical copy of the best version of the work and notify the copyright owner that the copyright registration application will not be reviewed before the office receives the physical copy.

Reminder: Physical copies must be mailed to the office on a printed shipping note generated by the electronic registration system. The shipping note must include the title of the registered work.
