Instructions for Authorization and Annual Fee of Chilean Invention Patent Application
- Grant fee: The granted fee should be paid within 60 days of the issuance of the granted notice.
- Annuity: The annual fee is paid in two installments. The annual fee for the first ten-year period must be paid when the application is accepted, and the annual fee for the second ten-year period must be paid before the expiration of the first ten-year period. If the annual fee is overdue, it can be paid within a grace period of 6 months, and a 20% late fee will be charged at the same time .

- This time limit may be extended by 30 days if the applicant pays an additional fee for late entry into the national phase.
- This period can be extended by up to 18 months on payment of the prescribed fee by the applicant (see National Phase Information for details).
- After the 30-month period (30 months from the priority date), the applicant may request restoration of the rights within 12 months, provided that the restoration fee is paid and the Canadian Patent Rules 154(3 ) with respect to (delay of national phase entry) other requirements for reinstatement of rights.

Description of Philippine Design Authorization and Annual Fee
- Grant fee: The applicant shall pay the granted announcement fee within 2 months from the date of issuance of the granted decision notice.
- Annuity: It will be paid year by year starting from the date of patent announcement for 4 years, and the renewal fee can be paid within 12 months before the expiration of the protection period. If you fail to pay after the due date, you can make up the payment within a grace period of 6 months, but you need to pay a penalty at the same time.
