From July 1, 2022, the accelerated review procedure PPH between the EPO and Saudi Arabia is officially launched, with an initial validity period of 3 years.
At the same time, EPO and SAIP will share existing work results and data with each other, thereby reducing duplication of work and improving efficiency, and thereby reducing the cost of patent applications in Saudi Arabia.
At present, EPO has cooperated with Japan Patent Office (JPO), Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru , the Philippines and Singapore signed a bilateral PPH agreement.
