The European Patent Organization EPO officially launched the European Inventors Network last week to inspire the younger generation to be passionate about science while cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset. The network consists of more than 200 former European Inventor Award and Young Inventor Award finalists, and invited members will promote activities for the long-term benefit of STEM. EPO internal committee members will award invitees with 6,000 euros, 4,000 euros or 2,000 euros respectively depending on the impact and promotion scope of the selected plan.

Invited members include inventors, entrepreneurs, school students, and even children. Network members will support EPO in various ways to participate in EPO's various activities, such as lectures, panel discussions, podcasts or appearing in EPO's promotional videos.

In the early days of the network, 21 inventors proposed 36 projects, 24 of which were funded, including a workshop for secondary schools where learners completed challenges using LEGO programmable robots. ; Another clean water energy project in an elementary school educates students about the importance of clean water. Similar inventor network activities will be implemented in 11 countries.
