Ethiopia joins Paris Convention

Ethiopia has submitted its instrument of accession to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property to the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). According to this agreement, the Paris Convention will officially enter into force in Ethiopia on August 15, 2025. At that time, Ethiopia will officially become a member of the International Union for the Protection of Industrial Property (Paris Union).
