Singapore and Vietnam launch CS&E pilot program
The CS&E program is based on an accelerated examination pilot program agreed between the Intellectual Property Offices of Singapore and Vietnam and is the first accelerated examination program in ASEAN countries. The CS&E program aims to speed up the patent examination process in Singapore and Vietnam based on the existing technology search and examination results of the intellectual property offices of the two countries.
The CS&E pilot program will run from March 1, 2023 to February 28, 2025, and the CS&E report will be provided to the applicant within 10 months after receiving the CS&E request from the patent applicant.
