UAE Intellectual Property Office and USPTO collaborate to expedite patent granting process

At the 66th WIPO General Assembly in Geneva, the UAE MoE IP and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) signed a joint declaration of intent to expedite the patent granting process in the UAE. Under this agreement, positive examination results issued by the USPTO will be recognized by the UAE MoE IP, accelerating the process of obtaining patent protection in the UAE.
