The Saudi Trademark Office (SAIP) has now adopted the 12th edition of the Nice Classification, taking an important step in developing its intellectual property framework.
With the application of the Nice Classification 12th Edition, a significant change in trademark applications in Saudi Arabia is that the class title will no longer be required, and the selection of goods should fully comply with the goods list of the Nice Classification 12th Edition.
