WIPO - First successful mediation under Singapore-ASEAN Mediation Project (AMP)
For the first time, a trademark dispute involving three family-owned optometry companies: Chew's Optics, Chew's Optics (Bishan) and Chew's Optics (Kovan) has successfully completed mediation proceedings within the framework of the ASEAN Mediation Project. Companies from ASEAN countries that have intellectual property disputes, technology disputes, or need to negotiate can apply for the WIPO-Singapore ASEAN Mediation Project and receive up to S$8,000 in AMP funding from the Singapore government.
