A request for substantive examination must be filed within six months of publication. Applications can file the request for expedited examination through the Patent Prosecution Highway.

If the discloure is raised within 12 months from the filing date/priority date by the applicant, inventor, agent, or a third party or anyone that has obtained information from the above-mentioned persons, the application will not lose novelty. 

Colombia does not charge granting official fees. The 1st annual fee after granted must be paid before the last day of the month corresponding to the filing date. Deferrals are possible within the 6-month grace period, but a panelty will be incurred.
