High-value patents are the key driving force for industrial development. In order to cultivate a group of high-value patents that lead the development of the industry, the new "Measures" clearly proposes to encourage the cultivation of high-value patent portfolios in key industries in Xiamen. High-value patent portfolio or patent pool projects that have been implemented by the Municipal Market Supervision Administration for record and have achieved remarkable results (each patent portfolio or patent pool contains at least 50 invention patents and 10 invention patents authorized through the PCT), will be based on Relevant regulations and systems give a single project a reward of 1 million yuan. The total award amount is up to 10 million yuan per year.

In terms of intellectual property protection, the new "Measures" further clarifies and improves the funding standards for intellectual property rights protection. In patent and geographical indication infringement dispute cases, the maximum subsidy for successful domestic rights protection is 100,000 yuan, and the maximum subsidy for overseas rights protection is 200,000 yuan. Yuan.

In order to speed up the transformation and application of intellectual property rights, the new "Measures" newly added rewards for the transformation and application of patents in colleges and universities and scientific research institutes, and 30% of the transaction amount will be rewarded no more than 100,000 yuan for each item. At the same time, the new "Measures" focus on rewarding intellectual property public services. Encourage schools and service organizations to carry out public welfare publicity training, adopt a project system, and give subsidies of up to 100,000 yuan.

The new "Measures" will come into force on March 20 this year and will be valid for three years.
