Starting from July 1, 2023, Serbia will launch a new intellectual property fee standard. The new fees cover all types of intellectual property rights, and all fees will increase by 15%.
trademark:
- Under the revised fees, the fee for trademark applications for up to three categories has increased from RSD 16,470 to RSD 18,960. 3,800 RSD for each additional category after the third category, instead of the previous 3,300 RSD.
- The collective mark application fee for up to three classes increases from RSD 32,920 to RSD 37,890, and the fee for each additional class increases from RSD 4,940 to RSD 5,690.
- International trademark registration fees increased from 8210 RSD to 9450 RSD.
- The trademark is valid for 10 years, and the renewal fee increases from 32,920 RSD to 37,890 RSD, and for each additional category, it increases from 4,940 RSD to 5,690 RSD.
Appearance design:
- The application fee for industrial designs increased from RSD 6580 to RSD 7570, including applications for two or more designs. The fee for the second and subsequent designs increased from RSD 4,940 to RSD 5,690.
- The international design registration fee increases from RSD 8,210 to RSD 9,450.
- During the initial 5-year protection period, the annual fee for maintaining a single design increases from 16,470 RSD to 18,960 RSD, and for each 5-year period from the 6th to the 25th year, it increases from 9,870 RSD to 11,360 RSD. The fees increase from RSD 11,510 to RSD 13,250 for each subsequent design and from RSD 6,580 to RSD 7,570 for each additional design.
