In 2023, domestic and foreign companies registered 8,513 trademarks with the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, a year-on-year increase of 3.87%.
According to the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, of the total number of trademark registrations, 3,444 trademarks were registered through the national system, while the rest were submitted through the Madrid Protocol. "This figure represents the total number of trademark registrations between January 1 and November 25, 2023." At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia also accepted 18 infringement cases and cancelled 30 trademarks.
