On June 26, 2024, Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Adbulla Fakhro signed a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) agreement with the USPTO on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is the fourth PPH partner of the USPTO in the Middle East and North Africa region. The PPH pilot program between the USPTO and Bahrain will take effect on November 1, 2024 for a period of three years and end on October 31, 2027.
