The Argentine Industrial Property Office issued Resolution No. 364/2024, requiring applicants of invention and utility model patent applications to indicate the legal status of the priority they claim when submitting a new application, and to declare whether the priority application has been authorized in the priority country. If the applicant does not respond to the priority, the patent application will be deemed abandoned. The resolution came into effect on August 28, 2024.
