Oman: Pay attention to submitting a power of attorney

On September 24, 2024, the Omani Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion required all trademark agencies to comply with the provisions of Articles 4, 24 and 31 of the Omani Royal Decree No. 11 "Regulations for the Implementation of the GCC Unified Trademark Law" when handling opposition cases, appeal cases, name changes, addresses, transfers and license filings, as well as changes in agents and modifications to applicant information, and to submit the original statutory power of attorney.
