The People's Republic of Bangladesh, commonly known as Bangladesh (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ), is located in the north of the Bay of Bengal; a small part of the southeastern mountainous area borders Myanmar, and the rest borders India. DPDT conducts formality examination and substantive examination for invention patent applications. The substantive examination starts automatically, and the applicant does not need to file a separate request for substantive examination. If the patent application meets the requirements of condition of grant, the patent application will enter into the public stage. The patent application will be granted if there is no opposition within 4 months after publication.
