Previously, the Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority (EGIPA) issued Resolution No. 141 of 2025, which updated the official fees for copyright services, covering application fees, pre-examination fees, publication request fees, voluntary amendment fees, certification fees, and examination fees. In addition, this copyright law amendment also introduced fee regulations for certificates, affidavits, and official declarations issued on security paper bearing the Republic Seal.
Recently, EGIPA issued Decision No. 138 of 2025, supplementing Decision No. 26 of 2025, to adjust the official fees for certain patent procedures in Egypt.
In addition, EGIPA issued Decision 140 on plant variety fees and Decision 141 on copyright fees.
Increased official fees for various patent, plant variety and copyright services will come into effect on October 15, 2025. The revised fee schedule was published on the official EGPO portal on the same day.
